What a day to start writing my blog using Ghost CMS when the US successfully landed Perseverance Rover on Mars at 3:55 PM Eastern. A time travel of 12 minutes from Mars to Earth - The rover was on its own and everything went in proper order for a successful landing. The rover traveled 300 million-mile journey since it left Earth more than 6 months ago. Perseverance will search for signs of ancient life on Mars.

Dr. Swati Mohan is an Indian-American scientist and she is the lead systems engineer for the mission. She brought lots of pride for the Indian community around the world for her crucial role.

This day on February 18, 1930, Pluto was discovered. Interestingly, the Vasant Panchami was on Feb 16, 2021 as per Hindu calendar and it is the beginning of good period and good days ahead of us. The Covid-19 virus is on decline and the numbers of infected people are plummeting especially in India and other places. The astrologers are predicting that the pandemic will be over by the end of May 2021. We will see if there is any reason to believe in fortune telling, astrology and other para-normal things on which rational people do not have a believe but I do since I am irrational.
